I have never used boost with my 8th scale. Are you referring to 4x4 SCT? Please specify and list the rest of your settings, gearing, motor, etc. Adding boost is the quickest way to blow up you stuff if you aren't careful. Not saying you can't or shouldn't, just saying that you need to do it right.
