Ok guys, last night I took her out for a few passes to get the motor warm and see if anything would break or if problems would pop up and sure enough.. So here was the problem Took passes, up and down the street, at most 100-200ft and brought her back to just check temps because it just sounded too loud for comfort.. The esc was cool no heat at all (which made sense), the motor was a little warm (Made sense) but the pinion... when I touched it it dag on almost burnt my finger.. The only thing I could chalk it up to was mesh.. So i readjusted more, still a little warm but no where near as hot.. I'm running a Mod1 Hot Racing 17T pinion on the Pro4HD 4300.. Anybody else ever have this issue, or happen to have a close up of what a correct mesh looks like? I never had mesh issues before maybe I'm just out of practice..
