I have run a few different LRP SXXvII esc's for several seasons of 12th scale, with no issues
In fact, I've never had an issue with any brushless esc of any brand

Running a Tekin RS Pro in mod, 2 Tekin caps would be a good idea, to help keep temps cooler, as with mod you will no doubt use drag brake to control corner entry speed
Experiment with rollout/timing to keep motor, and esc at similar temps
Over gear = esc Hot, under gear = motor hot
