If you want a bigger connector I think the EC5 would be plenty for your needs. That being said a good real Traxxas or Deans allows a good amount of amps.

After a run touch your connector and if it's not hot then it's handling the amps fine.

I have done up to 80amps constant on 4mm tubes , Deans and Traxxas with no melting but they did get pretty hot.
