First get a radio that has end point adjustments or you will keep blowing through servos. You cannot have the servo stalling and full throttle. It will fry the servo or strip gears in no time. Something like this would do just fine. http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_...304SB-Receiver

Then a good digital servo with respectable speed and torque. You dont need to spend loads of money.
