Set the mid range 2 turns out from flush pointing at 2 o'clock. Then the Arrow V1 and V2 carbs will run just like an OS and idle for days.
i have done this and then set the HSN and LSN so rich they are almost falling out and i still cannot get it to blow smoke, the engine is lean and if i put my fingers over the needles the engineblows shitloads of smoke and dies in 2-3 secs.
