For the guys with drive train noise issues. This week at the track I had another Tekno driver comment on how quiet my buggy was. Here is the trick - make sure the motor is straight when you cinch down the upper screw. I hold the motor straight when tightening this screw, if you don't, the motor will twist in the mount, and gear noise becomes an issue.
As or the front shaft - mine wobbled a little, but no big deal. If you run without the center brace, you run the risk of bending the shaft. I always run the center brace. I have the aluminum shaft now, and it is perfect.
If your buggy is loose on power, and you have been chasing setup you must get the new rear toe block. It made a huge difference for me set to 4° toe in.
