Didn't know the Mug used different diffs. If you ran 9/50 or 9/46, you'd get 1.18/1.28:1 on LST diffs. I've got a 9T Mod1 5mm bore Novak pinion that I know works fine in an E-Muggy, as I ran it on mine before moving up in teeth to the 11T.
The Muggy's 4.09:1 diff ratio is the only reason you can run the 2000kv on 5s with those big tires without a larger spur and you're already using a fairly small pinion. Remember the early days of truggies when they were running 3.31:1 ratio buggy diffs (same as LST) with huge 65t spurs? You can run 9/46 on your Muggy because you have a 40-42mm diameter motor. I just double checked my 1717 with a 50t spur and with a 12t pinion the motor hits the diff outdrive before the gears mesh, I doubt grinding the motor fins away would help. A 13t pinion has a mm or 2 of clearance between the motor and diff outdrive. I don't have a 46t spur check with.

No offense, but you are confusing rollout with final drive ratio (FDR). Rollout is dependent on FDR and tire size. FDR has nothing to do with tire size. Your Muggy has a diff ratio of 4.09:1 and the 11/46 creates a 4.18:1 ratio. Combining the two equals a FDR of 17.1:1. Quoting rollout instead of FDR can be a bit more useful but we don't know what size tires he wants to run and rollout is only a guide for initial setup. Just saying.
