Here's a friendly reminder for all of you. Check your out drives on a regular basis. I snapped a rear drive shaft last weekend. The out drive looked fine on the surface, but inside it had a groove deep enough to completely swallow the pin on the drive shaft.
I think I was still using the original set of out drives that came with the car for the F/R diffs.
Were yours the original outdrives from a first run kit? My outdrives from the first run kit did wear out pretty quickly, but the replacement harder version have been holding up really well. (not the lightened versions, just the 2nd batch of regular outdrives) They hardly show any wear at all after months or racing on them.
But now you are gonna make me look closer at them...
