I am building an RB6 to try running mid motor. I currently race an AE B4.2FT.
I have a question concerning the slipper shaft. More specifically the side to side play it has. With the tranny closed up, the slipper shaft moves maybe 2+mm side to side. It is almost as if a shim or two, or a spacer is missing, but there isn't anything listed in the manual. Have I overlooked something or is this side to side play normal?

As long as you have the brass collar installed it's fine (see step 34 in the manual) These things are not super tight specs, also don't over tighten the case screws.
