My TEKNO EB48 - the idea was to get
light 4S setup with
low CG and
perfect balance as possible. Looks like I did it.
About setup:
Motor HET Typhoon 700-60-1865kV is not meant for cars, but I like to experiment. Weights 280g and works extremely efficient in EDFs up to 6S. It looks like it is more efficient than Tenshock. You can see some measurements here
http://www.ejets.at/ (you can calculate yourself how much kg of thrust per kW each motor is getting). Due to stiff (thankfully short!) cables I decided for "tape solution", not pretty, but I will see how it will work. Short direct soldered cables to the SCT PRO without mess. I have 16-19T pinions to play with.
ESC - SCT PRO - works nice with the motor - as most say - works like sensored setup. Without fan but with three extra ZLH Rubycon 25V caps and 10AWG wires on battery side and ultra short wires on motor side. Also "beefed" up servo cable to get as little voltage loss to the servo. Additionally supported BEC on the receiver side by 2 ZLH 10V 1500uf Rubycon caps as glitch busters. I mounted in on quite soft thick foam but the cables little tension twists it.. I will see how it goes.
Batteries - Gens Ace Shortys 4200mAh 60C - in a low CG config with custom made rear battery CF/aluminum holder (12 g). This required quite some thinking and rethinking

but the balance , well I am satisfied

Also of course short 10AWG cables and low profile 4mm plugs for as little losses as possible.
Kit went together smoothly, I used aluminum screws and nuts, only don't like
wobbling center shaft

I also got second EB48 here I am preparing for a friend, has the same problem.
