i know it's an internet source, however the hudy off-road and on-road manuals contradict each other as well with regard to the effects of off-power steering...which is right?

Does anybody have Chad Knaus phone number...haha
one thing that is always consistent is the effects of straight line stability
Yeah, its funny how that can be sometimes.
For those curious, here is what the Hudy offroad guide says:
EFFECTS OF CASTER ADJUSTMENT
Less caster angle (more vertical)
• Decreases straight-line stability
• Increases off-power steering at corner entry
• Increases suspension efficiency
More caster angle (more inclined)
• Increases straight-line stability
• Decreases off-power steering at corner entry
• Makes the car more stable through bumpy track conditions
based on what I have seen actually running on loose outdoor conditions, pretty much performs as the hudy guide says above.
when I ran indoor foam touring car as an onroad comparison, it was quite common for us to go with more caster to calm the vehicles down so they didn't hook at corner entry.
But, as it is, its a change that can be easily tested.
