If you have the latest rebuild kit the thicker shim for the sun gear is included .
The .5 has the biggest diameter and is thickest , the .2 shim that goes on the out drives is thinner & a smaller diameter .

Do not get confused with the smallest diameter .2 shims that only fit on the spider gears ..

again...

do not use the shim that is for the out drive cups, only use the larger & thicker shim under the sun gears .
