Being that I bought a RTR, the first parts that got replaced were the radio system, esc, motor, shocks, and gears. Now as far as the motor is concerned, i'm on the sixth motor...trying the find the perfect balance of great crawling ability and good top speed. I just ordered the last one...a Hobbywing 21.5T sensored brushless crawler motor. I should have it in either this week or next at the latest. I took it as a challenge because all I keep hearing is that you will never get the same crawling performance from a BL motor compared to a brushed. I believe that the right BL motor with the right gearing will get me there. We'll see!!
