I ran 19T today on 4s. I did have some motor heat problems though. Im really surprised. I thought the HD motor would have no problem with the buggy at about 6.25lbs. Came off after a 10 min main at 210 degrees. I wanted to drop a tooth during the qualifiers but damn grub screw in the pinion stripped and I couldnt get it off so I just left it alone for the day. I'll mess with it one night this week and get the damn thing off.
I may just go back to a normal 1900 T8 motor on the big outdoor tracks for the summer and save the HD for indoor this fall winter I'm sure it will work no problem on the smaller tracks and lower gearing, but I'm thinking its just not quite enough motor to handle the big tracks and taller gearing.
Okay, I tried an 18t on mine today. After running a 4100mah pack (didn't time it) I was 174°F. It was only about 60°F out though.
