I believe it's based on the GX-5R and intended as an entry level motor. Probably OK if it's cheap enough, but I picked up a run out GXII-5R HO with 2 needle carb for peanuts so not sure how much cheaper it would be worth going!

The 2072 pipe does seem to work well with the GXII but I found the JP-4 better on some of the older Go engines.

Does the German importer have any GXII going cheap, as I bought the last one from the UK?!

Alpha is a great little engine and requires a lot less break in - they're extremely popular here.
