The more grip and the faster the class, the more torque/holding power you want. So on a well prepped track running mod, def get a nice stronger high speed servo. For something like vta at a parking lot course, the mid-high range analog would suffice. If you can swing the brushless, go for it. Especially if other racers at the local track run them. It'll give a slight edge over the digitals.
