If your upgrading to a 150a from a lower amp esc, then yes, you should notice a difference, more punch, more power. It is noticable bewteen the HW 80a and 150a big time.
I had the Xerun 80a esc, and now have the 150a esc. I used the same motors with both. I noticed no difference. Both were used with Tekin 2050 and 2650, 4s 4500 30c Turnigy.
