There have been several posts on different threads about radio problems and the installation of the personnal transponders. It simply goes back to a mostly male problem, you didn't read the instructions and as a result have been trying to mount the transponder on top of the receiver.
Read the instructions and don't do it. That will clear up most of the glitching problems. This seems to be mostly on the NTC3 as it doesn't have a transponder mount included with the kit. In this particular case you can run the wires under the front shock mount and put a screw through one of the mounting holes in the p/t and into the empty hole in the top of the diff case.
