I own an original batch EB48 and an original batch SCT410. Both have had the stock front rods in them and both have had a little wobble to them. Neither have gotten worse over time, and neither show any extra wear in the front coupler or outdrive.

One thing that I can see possibly contributing to making it get more out of shape is folks running without the center brace if they bend the body a lot in a crash or hard jump landing. I run the center brace on both though, so can't comment on if that is actually the case or not.

Either way, it hasn't been an issue, but if you can't stand it, the AL ones do all appear to be straight, and help give even more instant power out of the very efficient drive line.
