Currently I'm running the Zapper 17.5t with 34/72 gearing and my temps range in the 150-160... Even at this gearing I find it slow when my normal gearing is 34/69 where I find the speed is about perfect. And at that gearing I get temps from 160-170. I find the temps to be a bit too high even tho I run indoor and the outdoor temps are from 70-85 on any given sunny day. Is this consider normal temps from what I have described? I feel like 34/69 gearing is just right to get the speeds I want without feeling slow and is the gearing I see being ran at my track, although the temps are too high for my likings. Should I turn the motor timing down? Suggestions?
