Mechanical Brakes
Greetings!
I was preparing to pick up a GT2 RS VE roller in a little bit and I was wondering if anyone has modified their stock setup to use mechanical brakes. The mod looks fairly easy - use rc-monster dual servo tray, add 2nd servo, and add the nitro model's brake linkage and disc hardware, etc. - however, I was wondering if there is anything else I may need for this?
Also, slightly off my initial topic, I've seen that the GT1 chassis have been prone to flexing and even warping in some instances. Is this a problem for the GT2 RS chassis and should I be looking to upgrade to another Kyosho chassis (i.e. ST-RR) immediately?
BTW, I plan on doing speed runs and mild bashing, but if the local track starts racing this class then I'll mod accordingly.
