Yea, you have to get those caps on right. What I do is start the caps with my fingers( no hex) and if I can get it started that way I know it's not cross threaded. I put the ball in with no arm attached and run the cap in til the ball has some drag then hold it up with the threaded end out and loosen the cap til the ball falls.
