I mounted my esc in the rear portion of the battery tray and dremeled the battery strap about halfway. Shoe hoo'ed a foam block in front of the esc for protection. I run a really short shortie so I still have some room to move around the pack.

Ran it like that last weekend and was hooked up! 1st time I ran Ions, and was VERY impressed!!! My shop sold out of them in fact, that night!
