I am debating on buying a EB48 buggy. I have a Losi 2.0 e now which is Ok but I was looking for something with a little more aggressive handeling. I was at a race this last week end and there where two guys there with EB48's and they looked amazing on the track. Any body switch from a Losi with a comparsion?
I have only test driven other folks cars for the other brands, but here are my very brief recollections:
The Losi seemed a bit lethargic in the turning department, but jumped well. The AEs I've driven have all had a weird ability to turn instantly, but not always when you want them to (depends where you are in the acceleration timing around the corner), and jumped reasonably ok. But I can say I love both the aggressiveness and predictability of the EB48 (which I own). The EB48 is asking to be driven really hard in box setup, and most tend to tone it down in one way or another to get to the setup that works best for them. It also jumps REALLY well.
