The difference between the TP1 and the lockout spec mode is to get it out of the lockout spec mode you MUST hook it up to the hotwire. If you are just in TP1 you can change it with the buttons on the esc.

With V223 TP1 will blink LED 3,5. Lockout spec mode will blink 3,4,5.
This is the way, & if you don't have a Hotwire handy, then I suggest you ask around locally to get a local to help you set it....
