Agreed for sure. That's why we basically were ready to pull the pin on the brand until they announced they would be releasing future models in traditional ABC construction as well as the new ABS ringed construction.
We were not about to see our customers being used as guinea pigs for new and as yet unproven technology.
It seems the company is steering themselves towards the RTR market after recent changes at management level.
They have canned all driver sponsorship world wide (GXII etc), which has left a bitter taste in a lot of drivers mouths (who have worked hard to give the brand presence in the market over the last few years).
From what I have gleaned they are now obsessed with ease of run-in, and customers being able to use motors straight out of the box - ie an RTR type situation.
Whether these new ringed motors will hold up to the rigours of full on racing at race revs and loads remains to be seen. I am personally a little doubtful, like most other people. Only time will tell I guess.

If the new ABC version GXII Plus motors prove ok we will most likely make them available to our customers here.
When this will happen is a mystery however, as communications into and out of GO seem very one way or non existent at present - go figure
