You know..Motor and ESC is only ONE leg of the same THREE legged stool. Cut any leg off off and it crashes down. The other two legs and just as important is the right gearing and the right battery. If any of those two are off, damages will incur faster then we could ever react to. Then it's crying time on the forums. And I make that statement because all I've read by people who think that they've been burned never address the other two legs of the stool. Just as is the case here with the postinng above Ever notice that? I sure have.
I'm sorry to say it but I believe that many of these problems people complain about are just plain self inflicted because they didn't take the time to wear out a little a little shoe leather so to speak. They get a new toy in the mail and they want to go right out to play. If I were to make a major change to any RC (changing out an ESC is major) I would always take the time to start at square one check and double check my solder joints and make sure it's right by spending some time first with a full pinion tree and temp gun.
