I am planning to purchase a Tamiya f104 pro kit and was wondering if it is a good kit for a beginner like me.

I also have no clue on what motor, electronics and controller to buy for a beginner. What do you guys recommend. I hopefully plan to race rc f1 in the future.

Thanks
CHeck for a RC Club in your local area, and see what they run. A RC car is fun, but a RC car you can race/run with friends is a whole lot better. Most F1 guys run 21.5 Blinky, and the tamiya cars are a good choice. (mainly they are the standard for parts compatability, and availablity).

Shawn.
