Just wanted to share something I learned this weekend. And please accept my apologies if this is something everyone already knows.
The track this weekend was low grip: hard, dry and dusty. With no tire change, I changed to a C tower from the A tower. Didn't work. The car was loose entering and exiting corners. I was quite surprised how much it loosened the car up.
I didn't get a chance to change back over the the A tower, but I will before the next race.
I run on a lower bite track and the c hubs definitely loosen it up. I think it is because they keep the rear end flatter. On higher bite tracks keeping the rear flatter can give more traction and help prevent traction rolls. The c-hubs are not magical. They are for tuning. That is why I got the avid A/C hubs, so i can easily change it and see if I like it for a given track.
