3 front and 2 rear seems to be the norm.
As fas as exposed shaft from the shock body to the shock eyelet and correct me if i am wrong but i think the above measurements are not correct.
3 limiters front = .090" which converts to 2.286mm which you would subtract from 21mm of the given shock shaft stroke which comes out to 18.714mm
Front with 3 limiters equals 18.714mm of exposed shaft
Rear with 2 limiters equals 25.976mm of exposed shaft
I corrected my shocks last night since i did not have my shock rod ends turned in far enough and it was a night and day difference.
3 limiter front (20.3mm of exposed shaft)
2 limiter rear (26mm of exposed shaft)
Just got this info from Kurt @ avid regarding the limiter/exposed shock shaft length. He unscrews his shock end a few turns w/3 limiter to achieve 20.3mm exposed shock shaft length for the front as it will make the shaft length in between 2 limiter and 3 limiter.
I ran his recommended setting this past weekend and my car jumped/handled a lot better then my previous limiter settings (which was 2 limiter with 19.5mm exposed shaft)
