I just run a Team Checkpoint TC1030(rebranded/upgraded DuraTrax ICE), Equinox balancer, and an LRP 20A PSU. Whole setup cost me $70 used. It lets me charge @ about 2C & discharge at about 5c(30amps), and has a ton of options including graphing. I run 4 batteries though, 1 for practice, 2 for heats, and one for the main and just charge at home. If I was running multiple classes I'd probably look at something stouter or just get another TC1030 and run both off my LRP.
