If you have 1 of the first, as you mentioned, it's difficult to tell you exactly what you need to get it to fit new type of rims.

In the front they will fit I believe, it's not a perfect match, because old OS1 rims have a 3mm pin, and new OS2 have 4mm, but in the rear you have some work to do.
If you are only going to bash with it, maybe buying 966 rear OS2 uprights, and upper rear arms, might do the trick, together with some logical thinking.

For the rear you also need new wheel axles, and parts like:
