Speaking of which, I did try the high mounted ESC (I feel like a loser), and I liked it. I removed the 14g from the rear triangles, and it was great. Much crisper through the turns, and more rear bite. I ended up getting rid of the 1mm washers on the rear links, and ran them as low as possible.
I made up a tray to mount the ESC but haven't tried it yet. I actually like the lower inline setup right now. Only reason I may try the shelf is so I can run a full size pack outside.
I think I'm going to leave it be for now to get a baseline with the low inline and then compare with the higher inline after.
