I heard that Maifield was thinking about the c4.1 for CC after the first day of practice. Obviously he never did this. maybe AE said no way, maybe it would be too much trying to setup a mid motor conversion that he has never ran. But he did seem to get the RM b4 working well enough for a 2nd place finish.
