Just finished the build of my XV-01 pro. Another great kit from Tamiya (IMO). Replaced all exposed hardware with stainless steel, Ti for M3x18 and over screws, and Tamiya Al blues for other pieces. Current setup has VG 450 front and 400 for dampers with stock silver springs. 2000 cst for front diffs, 1000 cst for rear diffs. I opted to go with a Viper Copperhead ESC with a VX4.39 motor. Steering servo is a Savox SC-1258TG. Rx is tucked next to the battery wire opening, Spektrum SR3500.

Quick build tip - put some CA glue on the battery door locknuts to keep them in place.

The car is a tad louder than I expected - my guess it's due to the 32P spur/pinion. Other than the sound,
drivetrain is smooth and the belt drive does not have slop. It's blast to drive.
