Nice car, you might want to drill holes in the tops of your ball cups or cut the tops off with a hobby knife. This will allow you remove the ball studs with a 2mm wrench without having to pop the ball cup off first thus keeping from stretching out the ball cup sockets.

The further back the weight of components is on a car the faster it will rotate in a corner. So you might want to mount your receiver and speed control closer to the motor after running the car for awhile.

Assuming your are running 17.5 blinky class (no esc timing) I would shoot for about a 3.5 FDR to start with the motor endbell timing cranked all the way up. I also recommend a Yeah Racing tornado fan mounted 6-8 mm behind the motor to keep the motor cool.

For blinky mode you should use the hot wire and set the speed control to sensored only with the timing set to C1. It looks like you are in dual mode which is sensored start only then the esc stops looking at the sensors once the motor is rolling along.

If your esc is set to forward only nevermind the following.......... If set to have delayed reverse for practice change your reverse speed from 100 to about 30. Otherwise you will be scarred silly the first time you grab full speed reverse by accident.

Have fun!
