Question guys. I am sorry to ask a question like this but its been a subject going on in my region. On the Btt and bonito motors which have the low profile cooling head, do they tend to show extreme head temps? I helped local guy tune in a bonito and I was able to get the motor just stupid fast and it was in the 210 range. This was during a very mild Texas winter. I ask this because a lot of other people that own/run these motors say that they operate anywhere between 265-330. The 300+ mark just seems a bit much. I leave the temp gun in my pit bag and just go by ear and smoke. If I temp a motor its after I have tuned it as a reference. Just wanting to know if there is any truth behind this.
