I had talked to mashimarowu about ESC's & wanted to recommend the speed passion reventon r, but had not run the ESC, so I couldn't in good faith say it was a good ESC. I own one now & can absolutely say it's a great ESC! I was running a tekin RS pro in my b4.1 (it's in my b44 now) & can unequivocally say the reventon is MUCH smoother. The tekin does have some program features the reventon doesn't have (push control, throttle curves, & much finer steps for the settings that are the same), but everything you will actually use on a regular basis is there. The reventon r comes with a program card to change the settings with out a laptop (Hotwire & a laptop are a must for any tekin). You can also get a wifi or Bluetooth card for it so you can change your settings on an iPhone or android from the drivers stand while the car is pulled over in a safe spot on the track. I will caution that reventons have issues with viper, gen2 tekin, & sometimes lrp motors (although I am running an lrp x12 8.5t I did have problems with another one).
