I can appreciate your input, tell you what, I'll try some front blues on the rear just to check it out. I'd go softer but I don't have any on hand. I'm installing a reedy 4.5 550 and a castle bec right now just to check it out even though I'm really happy with the pro4 4000.
I tried the proline ION sc today and I must say proline is makeing a really good tire for indoor clay. I've been running Jconcepts exclusively for years now but after the lame glue job they have done on my last 2 recent orders im trying proline as punishment. One set of pressure points had one tire only glued half way and the set of choppers I ordered had a ton of glue on the face of every wheel. I can do a better job myself.
If you like the ION's you should try AKA Wishbones or Handlebars in the new clay compound, there awesome.
