Baseline Setup:

• Shock Oil – 30/25
• Toe – -2/-3.5
• Camber – -1/-1
• Shaved Brace w/ C Hub
• Tires – Gold Barcode/ MC Suburb
• Sonic 7.5T w/ Mamba Max Pro ESC
• Everything else “stock”

The first change was to install the Avid Triad slipper. Wow! The feel to this setup was much more consistent than the VTS slipper. My fastest lap only improved a couple tenths 23.2 -> 23.0, but my times were much more consistent. I was also able to run the Triad tighter than the VTS which made clearing some jumps easier while maintaining more control.

The next change was to install the black (1.9) spring in the rear. This change was a huge improvement in settling the rear down. The track was pretty sloppy last night and the softer spring in the rear helped tremendously. I was able to run faster and much more consistently. If the track was tackier I would probably go up to a green (2.0) spring in the rear to get a little more rotation. Fastest Lap 23.6

I then installed the white (3.15) spring up front. The balance was slightly different, not a huge change. However, the car felt a little better through the faster corners while not losing any through the slower stuff. Fastest Lap 23.5

I then moved on to tires. First up was substituting the Gold Barcodes for some MC Scrubs. The Scrubs allowed me to carry a lot more speed through the fast corners but seemed to slide more in the medium to slow speed stuff. I am planning on sticking with the Barcodes for now but will investigate this again when the track is tackier.

For the rears I tried some Pink BK Bars in place of the Suburbs. I could not seem to get any grip with the BK Bars. I continued running to allow the tires a little time to “break-in” but they never really improved. A couple people really like these tires but I will be sticking with the Suburbs.

Final Setup:
• Spring – 3.3/1.9 F/R
• Shock Oil – 30/25
• Toe – -2/-3.5
• Camber – -1/-1
• Shaved Brace w/ C Hub
• Tires – Gold Barcode/ MC Suburb
• Sonic 7.5T w/ Mamba Max Pro ESC
• Avid Triad
• Everything else “stock”
2 degrees of toe in? Whoa. Try 0 degrees of toe in and I bet the car will act better for you mid corner to exiting of the corner.
