Let me make myself clear: I will not buy another Mini car. Maybe we should all change to the affordable ABC car? Didn't we all go to Mini & F1 because the touring cars are more complicated & expensive? Then you talk about a new $600+ Tamiya 417? When is this going to end? When people stop showing up to race?
In all my years of racing, I have never seen a club pick on a certain brand of car. Do you want everyone to have a Tamiya 417 so we can be just like you?
Also, thank you for the definition of the word decimate. That's a really big word & it saved me a lot of time having to look it up in my dictionary.
Caesar I think you are missing the point. There is nothing wrong with buying what you want. What is wrong with buying a 417 to race in sedan? As long as I don't race it in F1 or mini it is fine.
Don't you see we are trying to start sedan again. There should be enough mini for a class even if the few faster drivers goes back to sedan. It's almost worked.
I didn't stop racing sedan because of the cost or the complexity. I stop racing sedan about two weeks after some one blew their motor.
It doesn't matter if you win buy a hair line you are driving a non-mini chassis. For the record we didn't tell you that you can't buy the F1 of your choice. The only thing we said was it can not be wider than 190mm. I said it before and I'll say it again, if you want to race the chassis of you choice please do so in sedan. Why didn't you ask before you were going to buy that chassis?
So where do we draw the line guys. I tell you guys what, to make it easier why don't we just run open everything and see how well things go. Open F1, Open Mini, Open Sedan.
So what are the rules again?
