Not meaning to clutter up the mini thread here but it seems to be getting a bit of interest and reader traffic, so I will ask or maybe someone more involved with the Sunday program can start a thread on the subject.

Mod touring car? I know I have been an advocate of the 17.5 class in the past and I would like others opinion on this or at least a discussion. Yes the clean and close racing of spec classes is awesome and Stan and others have stated why previously in this thread and I get that. A few months ago Jason made a switch to running mainly mod classes and has really enjoyed the challenge of controlling the horsepower along with the other aspects that comes with racing. I think he enjoys the challenge, frustration, speed and feeling of achievement that comes with it beyond spec or stock racing. If you guys now have a couple entry level classes established is it maybe time for a couple others to give an advanced class a try? Would it hurt the other classes or attendance? Thoughts?

Thanks, Keith.
