I am also going to run a separate rx pack. I am thinking about trying out the SMC LiFe packs. Maybe even the little gens ace LiFe packs. I have heard mixed reviews about the novak booster with the Tekin Rs. Not sure of my other options.
Another question. Are their any companies that offers mounted tires on yellow wheels? Do dish wheels exist in 1/12?
Car looks good! 13.5 blinky is weird for gearing, at the last race I was at people were gearing anywhere from a 82mm - 101mm rollout. I personally like a lower gearing. For that track size I would start around 80mm - 85mm and go from there. Rollout is calculated by taking Pi x tire diameter / spur x pinion. A good starting point for 13.5 blinky is to gear about 10mm lower than what people are gearing a 17.5 blinky setup at.
There were a few companies that made dish wheels years ago for 1/12 but they have gone out of style in favor of spoked designs, probably because the spoked wheels are lighter. Markus Mobers sells his Mobgum tires mounted to yellow wheels but they are available only in Europe at the moment.
Hope that helps.
