I find what spring rate first, all middle location tower and arm. Then I pick the oil and go from there. I get everything fairly close with balance. I do this with most common springs i will be using for track normally 2-3 different spring rates for both front and rear. Then I have a oil range for each different spring rate make a chart or table. As a hint my shock oils are normally little bit heavier than team drivers setup sheets. I setup my rc racing cars to what I like not what pros run. I don't drive like them. What they like and what I like is 2 different things. Are they close yes.
