But you say buy this part (m2c toe block) and poof bad design fixed. There is a reason everyone is selling theirs and for CHEAP.
I don't see it as a bad design personally. Different, but not bad overall.
The problem to me at least was the car appears to have been developed for a specific set of conditions, which is why it shines on those conditions. For stuff outside of those conditions, namely low traction, rutted, big jump tracks, it can benefit from the aftermarket.
Until AE makes products for the car that help in those conditions, a simple one being a rear toe in block system or at least another molded rear block like the stock one just at 3.5 degrees, we will need to rely on it.
Heck, the B4 based vehicles have this, and it has been a handy tool to use for tuning.
Ultimately though based on these issues, the resale market has been affected negatively for the vehicle.
ideally, I would like to see AE run wild with the vehicle and dedicate 2013 to be the year that the SC10 4x4 is no longer the perceived black sheep of the AE family. Treat it as the alpha of the pack by running it at
every event regardless if the track conditions are 1/8 big track loose. Then, go to the SC10 4x4 drawing board and get out any needed setups, hopups, etc. to the sc10 4x4 owning community.
I am confident AE has the know-how and the muscle to do it ...
