6 cells will give you faster response but 5 cells works just fine and is easier on the servo.

The cells work great. I'm pulling about 35ma per run and they are holding up just fine. Thanks.
I use a KO 949 with a KO vfs-2000 speedo. I like to use a reciever pack for stock also because it puts the full 6v or 7.2v to the servo. I usually run a 6 cell reciever pack because it is a little heavier and helps out my underweight car. Having ballistic servo speed is nice also.
