I'm sure gearing change could be done right on the spur gear. Wouldn't take much overall.
I'm just saying that lot of that can be made here in the U.S. and sold as a kit. Cost is the main factor as anything is. I know a company that can produce molds for lower quantities pretty cheap. They won't be able to run millions of parts but there is no need for that.
Just a thought. Most of the parts are already done.
