When I drive in a main like that I don't push very hard. I try to be as smooth as posible coming out of the corners and really hold my line. I only use enough throttle to clear the jumps and really try to focus on smooth consistant laps. I originally started with a 2250kv motor ( I think) and have been going down in kv because I was wasting too much power spinning the wheels. With a 1700kv I don't have to use the current limiter and my throttle epa is at 100. It has plenty of top end and is smooth on the bottom, but still will blow away any nitro coming out of the corners. 1900kv was pretty good but 1700 is better imo.
