My EDM is 17.5 boosted. It makes awesome power. Just watch your gearing, these motors don't like heat. I'm also running the high rpm rotor. Ron did tell me you can run the high torque rotor also. I'm running 18* motor timing and 45* boost timing in my Hobbywing V3 esc.
